Suwannee Pineview Elementary School held their First Annual STEMposium on Thursday, April 29.
The event, which took place from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., featured a student showcase, where student-created STEM projects were on display to hightlight the processes of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. There was also a stakeholders showcase, where various STEM-related community partners shared their work in the STEM field.
Exploration stations were available with student demonstrations, as well as hands-on activities, including 3D printing, Legos and Ozobots. Students, parents and members of the community were also able to view displays involving animation, stop motion, the 21st Century Club, the Coding Club and even the Minecraft Club.
This First Annual STEMposium was a huge success. Suwannee Pineview Elementary School is located at 1748 S Ohio Ave., in Live Oak.
