The search for a missing boater, identified as Andor Dora of O'Brien, ended Wednesday night, May 5, after his body was recovered from the Suwannee River.
According to officials, three men were on the Suwannee River around 8 p.m. on Tuesday, May 4, when their boat suffered a mechanical issue that caused it to crash into a tree, causing all three individuals to be ejected into the water. Dora, the owner of the boat and grandfather of six, was identified by Florida Fish and Wildlife officials at approximately 5:30 p.m., after being recovered from the Suwannee River.
