Suwannee County Economic Development and Tourist Director Jimmy Norris made an announcement of good news at the Monday, March 15, Suwannee County Commission meeting that Binderholz opened its sawmill business at 8 a.m. that morning with log trucks rolling in and out all day.
Norris has worked closely with the owners of Binderholz to help them get settled into Suwannee County and get this exciting business up and running for the community. He stated there were some hiccups that had to be worked out, but the mill was soon running well.
Binderholz is located at 17152 48th Trace just west of Interstate 10 off US 90 in western Suwannee County.
This new multi-million dollar sawmill will provide many new jobs to North Florida and Suwannee County.
