Ethel Louise Brinson McCall went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at the age of 88 at Haven Hospice in Lake City, Fla. McCall was born June 10, 1932, in Plant City, Fla. She was the fourth child of Stafford Allen Brinson and Ollie Idella Chancey Brinson. McCall was a member of Riverside Baptist Church in Lafayette County, Fla. McCall loved her family, especially her grandchildren, flowers, gardening and dogs.
McCall was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Audie Thomas McCall; a sister, Ruth Weitman and brothers: Carl Brinson, Raymond Brinson and Ronald Brinson.
She is survived by her daughters, Myra Bell (Hiram) of Mayo and Anita Burns (John) of Tallahassee; grandchildren: Gregory Bell (Debi) of Perry, Michelle Ginn (Matt) of Greenville, Jeremy Burns (Meredith) of Tallahassee and Rebecca Musil (Cameron) of Tallahassee; great grandchildren: Mason Ginn, Cheyenne Bell, Logan Ginn, Graham Burns, Emmeline Burns and Max Musil; sister, Judy Snipes (Marvin); brother, Roy Brinson (Maggie) and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Graveside services were held at Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery, on Monday, March 15, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Marvin Snipes officiating. All arrangements were under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Mayo.
