Betty Lou Jenkins Sullivan “Meme,” 80, of Live Oak, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021. The lifelong Suwannee County resident was a realtor with Rankin Realty. She farmed, worked as a beautician at Annie’s Beauty Shop and was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She loved shopping, antiques, flowers, pine trees, her family, dogs, and cows.
Sullivan is survived by her daughters: Alicia Davis (Bo) and Jennifer Merola (Tim); son: Kevin Sullivan (Jana); brother: Lamar Jenkins (Hazel); eight grandchildren: Brad (Beth), Zack (Meredith), Chelsea (Josh), Ethan (Alyssa), Logan, Dillon, Hunter and Layla; six great-grandchildren: Gatlyn, Austen, Remi, Joanzy, Indy Lou and Savanna. She was preceded in death by her husband: Joe Corbett Sullivan and her parents: Chester and Marie Jenkins. Services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 8 at Mt. Gilead Baptist Church with Rev. Wilbur Wood and Ricky Lyons officiating. Interment followed in the church cemetery. A visitation was held at Daniels Funeral Home from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, March 7.
