Public school teacher, author, singer/songwriter and host of the "Be Encouraged" webcast, Jennifer Joy Campbell, announced on Monday, Feb. 8, she will be publishing her second book, Worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth. Campbell chose to self-publish both of her books, so she could more easily afford to give books away on the mission field. Her greatest passion is to encourage others.
In this insightful new book, Campbell gives readers an inspirational look at the topic of worship. "Surely, the timeliness of this book is impeccable. When we examine the state of the world today, there is an imperative need for Christians around the world to worship the Lord continually, guarding against the evil forces, which seek to snuff out the bright lights we are shining for our Savior," she writes. "Worship is not a spectator sport. Worship is a way of life. Our purpose on this earth is to bring glory to our Creator as we worship Him in spirit and in truth! Worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth is a book that will enlighten your understanding as to what God desires, but also inspire your heart to live a life filled with praise."
"In Worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth, we are reminded that worship is not a show put on by an entertaining band on a Sunday morning. It is about establishing a genuine connection with the only One who deserves our praise," said Jim Cymbala, Pastor of The Brooklyn Tabernacle, a church located in Brooklyn, N.Y. "Almighty God, shake us and stir us, as we allow You to shift us from the status quo, and let this generation truly worship You in spirit and in truth."
Pastor Eddie Luke, of Sanderson Christian Revival Center, located in Glen St. Mary, Fla., said, "Worshiping God in Spirit and in Truth is available on Amazon in paperback and eBook editions. A free sample excerpt and free mp3 download of Campbell's song, Thank You, Lord, is available at www.jennifercampbell.net/worship."
Campbell was born and raised in the Sunshine State of Florida, a Suwannee County native, where she and her father, Ken, share a home on their small family farm with their orange and white tabby cat, Morris.
