Regarding last fall's election, one side claims that there is zero evidence of fraud and the other claims fraud rampant enough to overwhelm a landslide victory for President Trump. From what I have read, there was evidence of fraud in several states, but court cases were dismissed primarily for procedural issues such as late filing, lack of standing and evidence insufficient to overturn the results. Insufficient evidence does not equal zero evidence. In my opinion, the best way to stop the arguing and start healing is for the national government to create a bi-partisan commission to investigate evidence of fraud, and procedures that might allow it, before the 2022 campaign season. If the commission finds actual or potential fraud, then the states can fix their election procedures and prosecute perpetrators where necessary. If the commission finds no fraud, then that should quiet the opposition. I believe that this would be a much better approach to move the country forward than doubling down on the shouting, innuendo and efforts to subvert the constitution from both sides.
