Janet Clinton, age 88, of Live Oak, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020 at Suwannee Health Care in Live Oak. She was born in Thomasville, Ga., moving to Live Oak 31 years ago from Kissimmee, Fla. She worked as a commercial fisherman and loved working in her beautiful yard growing flowers and feeding the birds. Those that knew Janet Page Clinton speak of fond memories of the time spent with her. Her sister loves to speak of the times of when they were younger, picking lillies from the roadside on their way home. Another has fond memories of looking at photos and talking about the past. As for her granddaughter, Lesa, there is nothing like her hugs. Always remember to hug those you love. Her favorite verse from the bible is, Revelation 21:4, "He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more. Neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Janet is survived by many friends and family that love her very much. A big thank you for everyone's kind words and support through this hard time. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 in the Orange Baptist Church Cemetery with her granddaughter, Lesa Watkins officiating.
