The Suwannee County Martin Luther King (MLK), Jr. Committee is hosting the MLK Day 2025 Festival at Paul Langford Stadium's parking field on Monday, Jan. 20. The day's events will include a parade in honor of Dr. King at 10 a.m., followed by a church service at 11 a.m.
The committee is seeking vendors to participate in the festival, which will take place during and after the church service. Committee members are looking for a variety of vendors, including food trucks, clothing and jewelry sellers, creative pottery, painting artworks, T-shirts, designer Stanley cups, fruit stands and other for-profit businesses. The fee for vendors is $50.
Civic, political and nonprofit organizations are encouraged to contact the event organizers to share information about their work in the community, as they may qualify for a fee waiver.
All vendors must provide their own tents, tables, chairs and generators, and setup can begin as early as 8 a.m.
The deadline for vendors to apply for a spot at the MLK Day Festival is Monday, Jan. 6. Businesses and organizations wishing to participate in the festival or parade can call (386) 249-5641 or (904) 466-9920. They may also visit the Suwannee County MLK Committee's Facebook page for more information.
Vendors can pay for their spot via Venmo at @SuwanneeMLK, or they can pay by cash or check made out to Suwannee MLK.
