RIVEROAK hosts first Veterans 5k

The reason for the gathering was the inaugural RIVEROAK Technical College 5k Walk/Run for Veterans. Check in began at 8 a.m., and by 9 a.m., the crowd had moved to the starting line. Each member was proud, knowing the money they had spent to participate was going to local Veterans and SkillsUSA Teams. Proudly sporting their new shirts for the event, the 5k began.
