Father-son fight leads to battery charges

On Saturday, Nov. 10, at approximately 8:17 p.m., Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Cleveland Willis arrived at a mobile home residence at the 20000 block of 113th Drive in O’Brien in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, contact was made with 55-year-old Bruce Ladd Andrus. Andrus allegedly told Deputy Willis that he had been in a verbal altercation with his father when he grabbed his father’s shirt with both hands and shook him. Andrus then told Deputy Willis that he let go of his father, who then fell and hit the couch. According to the report
