Wawa is coming to Live Oak, and local interest has the city reeling with excitement over its future plans.
The plans began at the latest Board of Adjustment and Planning and Zoning Board Meetings on Monday, Oct. 21, in Live Oak. “The first round with making this happen was with the Planning and Zoning Board,” City Manager George Curtis said. “This was a procedural step to ensure proper location for the fuel stations that will be included with the store.”
The civil and landscaping plans were submitted to the city, which has the location of the Wawa at the corner of U.S. Highway 129 and Northeast 72nd Trace, across from Lowes.
