First responders of Hamilton County honored by Woman’s Club of Jasper

Delores M. Howell Contributor On Friday, Sept. 13, the Woman's Club of Jasper honored Hamilton County First Responders with lunch. The ladies wanted to show appreciation for all the first responders do to help keep the county safe by hosting a lunch and providing the time to relax and fellowship with each other. Twenty-nine local first responders attended this time of camaraderie while enjoying a lunch of smoked chicken, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, baked beans, rolls and a variety of salads and desserts. The members of the Woman's Club of Jasper hope to make this small token of appreciation an annual event as a way to say, "Thank you, first responders!"
