Fugitive Arrested in Beachville on Drug Possession Charges

Jason Futch reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Saturday, Oct. 19, at approximately 1:52 p.m., Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) Deputy Cedrick Henderson made contact with 25-year-old Branford resident Amber Lynn Baldwin at the Beachville Jiffy Store on County Road 49. According to the arrest report, Baldwin had an active warrant for her arrest in Lafayette County, which Deputy Henderson was aware. Upon making contact with Baldwin, she was placed under arrest. Deputy Henderson ordered Baldwin to empty her pockets. The report states a small clear bag with residue of a crystal-like substance was found inside Baldwin’s pocket.
