After the storm came through, debris was piled all around and over Kaleb's cross. I was so very sad, but not physically nor emotionally capable of fixing the situation. Anyhow, trucks came through removing debris from the roadside, including the pile that had overtaken my boy's “spot.” When I returned from my errands today, I saw a neighbor whom I didn't recognize with a rake. I was loudly crying way too hard to share my gratitude.
However, I hope this serves as a thanks for the many random acts of kindess served by those who love us so well, even when they're unseen.
Little did they know, this is Kaleb's birthday week and what a beautiful surprise to see his space made to be beautiful again. Thank you from the bottom of my mama heart. Big love y'all, and be thankful for great neighbors.
