Bulldogs excel at Alligator Lake Invitational

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Saturday, Oct. 5, the Bulldogs' cross country team traveled to Lake City for the Alligator Lake Invitational. This annual invitational is a highlight for the Bulldogs, and this year, both the boys' and girls' teams showed their skills. One athlete even set a new finish time for the school. The boys' team placed sixth out of 16 teams. Logan Haley was the fastest runner of the day, finishing the 5k with a time of 17:56.9 and placing 10th the best placement made by a Bulldog boy at this invitational since 2017. Brigadere Scott placed 26th with a time of 19:00.2. Brant Johnson had a time of 20:17.5, and placed 53rd. Drew Hurst placed 60t
