While performing research online for Suwannee County-related office matters, I sometimes come across fascinating tidbits of information that have little to do with my original scope of work. Sometimes, it is a previously unknown photograph that someone has posted; sometimes, it is a book or newspaper article that discusses Suwannee County. Such is the case with today's article, taken from a submission to The Florida Dispatch. The Florida Dispatch was an agricultural newspaper that, between 1876 and 1880, was published in Live Oak before moving operations to Jacksonville.
