Hamilton Commissioners open bids for repairs

On Tuesday, Oct. 15, the Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting, beginning with the approval of the consent agenda and bill payments. The board then approved its new procurement policy, which it needed to send to the state.
The board then opened a public hearing regarding a petition from Richard Dungan for a special exception in the land development codes. Land Use Administrator Matt Morgan presented the request to the board explaining the exception was for an auction house, and in his opinion, it was a cut and dry decision. Dugan then explained that there was no auction house in the county
