White Springs Town Council looks at new recreation opportunities

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the White Springs Town Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting. First, the council approved the agenda for the evening. The memebrs then approved the minutes from the September meetings. After that, they heard their financial report from Richard Powell with Powell Consulting. He told the councilmembers that they were $3,602 under their budget for the fiscal year so far. He also said their expenditures were under by $148,879. He ended by saying that, while the town's revenues have slowed, so have its expenditures, which is keeping it in a good spot for the yearly budget. The council then called on Shannon Will
