The Town of Mayo has a young lady that represents her home with pride. Derby Quinn Sherrell just turned seven years old on Friday, Dec. 18 and already holds multiple pageant titles.
Sherrell has been doing pageants for the past three years and is now Florida royalty after winning her title at America's Miss Agribusiness in November. She will now reign for the next 17 months, attending festivals, parades and doing her best to bring more awareness and love to rural farming. Her official titles are National Cover Miss and National Royal Miss for 2021.
Sherrell is the daughter of Garth and Toni Sherrell, of Mayo. She is in first grade at Lafayette Elementary School and is involved with her local 4-H chapter. Growing gardens in the spring and raising show chickens in her spare time is what brings her joy.
