Youth prove they’re a “pig” deal during Hamilton County Fair Events Day

The day of showmanship and high-quality livestock took place on Thursday, Oct. 3. The day kicked off at 1 p.m. with the swine show. This was followed by a horse show that was open to all ages, with categories including Lead Line, Pee Wee, Small Fry and Juniors. Events for the show included Texas Barrel, Arena Racing and Clover Leaf. Youth were then invited to participate in the Pee Wee Pig Scramble at 6:30 p.m. This was quickly followed by the swine sale at 7 p.m. The night capped off with 4-Hers and Future Farmers of America members competin
