Otis Cevel Lyons, Jr., 66, of Live Oak, Fla., passed away on Friday, Dec. 11, 2020.
Junior was born on July 15, 1954, in Clearwater, Fla., to Otis Cevel Lyons, Sr. and Janet Page Clinton.
Growing up in Suwannee County, Otis Cevel Lyons, Jr. enjoyed the country life to the fullest while hunting, fishing and living on the family farm.
He moved to Tampa, met his wife Teresa and they started a new life there. As time passed, he fulfilled his heart's desire by returning home to Dowling Park, where he lived out his last years at home on the family farm.
He may not have been a man of many words, but he loved his family and friends like he lived his life, to the fullest and without regret.
He was survived by his mother, Janet Page Clinton, of Live Oak, Fla.; wife, Terri Lyons; daughter, Lesa Watkins, son-in-law, Ralph Watkins, granddaughters, AnnMarie Dwyer, Rachel Dwyer, and great-granddaughter, Willow Houck; son, William Lyons, daughter-in-law, Stephanie, and grandchildren Haylee and Damien; son, Matthew Lyons, daughter-in-law, Krista, and grandson Oliver; son, Daniel Gawelczyk, Daughter-in-law, Cindy, and granddaughter, Hannah; brother, Daniel Lyons, sister-in-law, Lolita, and nephew, Rodney; brother, Spence Lyons, sister-in-law, Jessica, and nieces Ashley Marschal and Victoria Wood; sister, Barbara Mercer, brother-in-law, Gary and nieces and nephews, Danny, April, Christin and Ty; sister, Sandra Walters, and niece, Destra.
