Live Oak City Council ends water fluoridation

On Tuesday, Oct. 8, the Live Oak City Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The council began by adding one item, and changing another item on its agenda. Councilman Tommie Jefferson then requested to remove two items he had initally put on the agenda. The added item was a resolution declaring a state of emergency for Hurricane Milton. The changed item was for no council action to be taken following a presentation from Integrity Group. The two removed items were a discussion regarding cemeteries, and a discussion about sidewalk repair. Jefferson clarified that the council would still discuss the items, he just wanted to dis
