Support Raven Merine’s battle against breast cancer

Jasper resident Raven Merine was receiving routine prenatal care while carrying her fourth child when a lump was discovered in her breast. On June 26, Merine was diagnosed with stage two Triple Negative Breast Cancer, a particularly aggressive form of cancer. Consequently, she delivered Carridan on Saturday, August 24, at 34 weeks into her pregnancy.
Due to the cancer discovery, Merine is unable to receive scans and other common treatments until the end of her chemotherapy treatments in late November. Doctors told her there are “limited tools in the toolbox to deal with this.” Undaunted, Merine has launched an “aggressive faith” c
