One dead, one in critical condition following Hamilton County accident

A fatal multi-vehicle crash occurred in Hamilton County on US Highway 41 near the intersection of Northwest 96th Place on Wednesday, Oct. 2, at approximately 1:18 p.m., resulting in the death of one driver and critical injuries to another occupant.
According to Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the incident began when a Honda HRV, driven by a 59-year-old woman from Jasper, was stopped southbound on US Highway 41, waiting for a northbound Freightliner bucket truck driven by a 28-year-old man from Julian, N.C., to pass. At that time, a Ford Ranger, driven by Trey Williams, a 27-year-old from Jasper, approached the Honda from the southbound lane
