On Thursday, Oct. 3, the annual Hamilton County Fair Events Day will take place at the Hamilton County Arena in Jasper. The day of activities will include a swine show, horse show, Pee Wee Pig Scramble, swine sale and a 4-H and FFA Pig Scramble.
The swine show is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., featuring an official weigh-in for participants. Categories in the competition include Record Book Winners, Reserve Champion and Grand Champion. The swine sale, conducted by auction, will follow at 7 p.m.
At 4 p.m., the horse show will kick off, and youth can participate at no cost, provided they show proof of a current Coggins test. Events in the horse show include Lead Line, Pee Wee, Small Fry and Juniors, with competitions in Texas Barrel, Arena Race and Clover Leaf.
After dinner, the Pee Wee Pig Scramble is set to begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by the swine sale at 7 p.m. The day will conclude with the 4-H and FFA Pig Scramble at 9 p.m.
