“Creation of the Gods I: Kingdom of Storms” is the first movie in the “Creation of the Gods” trilogy. The trilogy, which is based off of the 16th century Chinese novel “Investiture of the Gods” tells the story of the fall of the Shang dynasty and the rise of the Zhao dynasty, albeit with fictional and fantastical elements. The story has multiple intersecting plotlines. The main focus is on Yin Shou (Fei Xiang), the second prince of the Shang dynasty. Under the influence of Su Daji (Naran), who is possessed by a fox demon, Shou has his father and older brother killed, taking the place of King of All Realms.
