Hornets face off against Eagles in homecoming showdown

On Friday, Sept. 20, the Lafayette High School Hornets hosted the Zarephath Academy Eagles for a varsity football game. What followed that evening was an intense back and forth between the two teams, where neither team seemed to be able to gain ground over the other.
Senior Jordan Murphy (#2) was the star reciever for the evening. He caught a total of five throws, with a total of 110 yards under his belt. Close behind him, though, was junior Parker Hill (#8), who caught seven throws for a total of 73 yards. Sophomore Tucker Higginbotham was the point maker all evening.
