Rotary Club of Branford supports Take Stock in Children with $1,000 scholarship donation

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Wednesday, Sept. 4, the Rotary Club of Branford celebrated a special moment as Lesley Fry and Suzanne Tillman, representatives of Goodwill Industries of North Florida and the Take Stock in Children program, were presented a $1,000 scholarship donation to the Take Stock in Children program. The club's contribution will help fund scholarships for deserving students in Suwannee and Branford High Schools. Tera Kelley, who participated in the program during her time at Branford High School, joined Rotary Club President John Lacquey in presenting the donation. The program, which pairs students with mentors and provides scholarships, enabled K
