Do you make homemade goods and sell them from your home? Do you know the maximum income you can earn each year selling from your home? Do you know if you should register the products that you sell online? If your unsure of the answers to these question, breathe easy knowing that the Lafayette County Public Library will be hosting a Cottage Food Law class on Thursday, Oct. 17, at 5:30 p.m. to help participants understand the laws and regulations from the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services inspector.
The foods that are covered under this law are:
• Loaf breads, rolls and biscuits.
• Cakes, pastries and cookies.
