Suwannee Commissioners make final decision on fire station placement

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, Sept. 17, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began with the approval of the minutes from the Tuesday, Sept. 3 meeting and the Thursday, Sept. 5, tentative budget hearing. The meeting then moved into public comment. The first person to speak was Tracy Henderson, RIVEROAK Technical College consultant. She told the board that there would be a 5K walk/run on Saturday, Nov. 9, in honor of and to support Veterans. Keith Broaders then stood up to speak. He told the board that the day of the meeting was also the anniversary of the signing of The Constitution. Moses
