Jasper City Council changes insurance policy

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Thursday, Sept. 19, the Jasper City Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began with the approval of the agenda, adding four items to it. The modifications were: an appointment of a member to the Hamilton County Tourist Development Board; a discussion on comp time policy; a discussion about the Double Diamond Rodeo sponsorship and a fire services ordinance. The board then approved the agenda. The council called for public comment, to which there was no response. The council then approved the previous meeting's minutes and the checks for the month of August. After this, the council moved to the manager's report.
