As they move into the future, they are focused on growing the essential departments in their town, one of which is the fire department. “Developing an active volunteer fire department begins with the right fire chief. Chief Joe Branton has been with us just a little over six months and he is well on his way getting the fire department active,” said City Manager Mark Meyers.
