The Live Oak community gathered at the Live Oak Fire Department on Wednesday, Sept. 11, for a solemn ceremony to honor the lives lost in the terrorist attacks that shook the United States 23 years ago. The event, marked by moments of silence and the sounding of sirens, paid tribute to the victims of the attacks and the bravery of first responders who risked—and in many cases, sacrificed—their lives.
