Dig this! Hornets take close-call victory over Bulldogs volleyball

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Thursday, Sept. 5, the Suwannee High School Bulldogs took a trip just over the river to Lafayette County to face off against the Lafayette High School Hornets in volleyball. What ensued was a five set battle for dominance, a back and forth rarely seen before as these two evenly matched teams came head-to-head for the first time this season. The first set went quickly to the Bulldogs with a score of 25-19. In the second set, however, the Hornets brought it back, taking the victory 26-24. The Bulldogs responded in kind for the third set taking another victory 25-22. The fourth set was another reciprocal match where the Hornets pulled t
