Hamilton announces drivers license checkpoints

Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Contributor The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) will be conducting driver's license and vehicle inspection checkpoints during the weeks of Tuesday, Oct. 1, until Tuesday, Dec. 31, in Hamilton County. Recognizing the danger presented to the public by defective vehicle equipment, deputies will concentrate their efforts on vehicles being operated with defects such as bad brakes, worn tires and defective lighting equipment. In addition, attention will be directed to drivers who would violate the driver's license laws of Florida.
