Man arrested following stabbing incident in Live Oak

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@ gmail.com On Saturday, Sept. 7, at approximately 12:45 p.m., officers with the Live Oak Police Department (LOPD) responded to a stabbing at 612 Scriven Ave., in Live Oak. Upon arrival, law enforcement found the victim, who was suffering from severe stab wounds to his left armpit and tricep areas. The victim was Due to a language barrier, a bystander assisted officers by translating for the victim, who primarily speaks Spanish. The victim identified the attacker as 55-year-old Live Oak resident Adahid Diaz, who was seen wearing a white shirt and blue pants.
