Letter to the Editor: Bless You All

On Aug. 5th, I was going to work and made the mistake of going through a road with water, never realizing how deep it was. To make a long story short, I called 911 and the dispatcher was very nice, she said to stay on the line, the police were coming, and the National Guard were coming. The water was coming in and I had already put the window down, I had to get on the roof of my car. She was very kind to me, even though I made a big mistake not knowing what I had done. The National Guard came with their big truck and were so kind to me, they helped me onto their truck with kind words. We got back on the dry road and the police were all very nice to me.
