Building a village: Homeschool families connect with library meet-and-greet

On Wednesday, Aug. 7, the Suwannee River Regional Library in Live Oak hosted a Homeschool Meet-and-Greet. Organized by fellow homeschool mom Sarah Dennis, the event drew a surprising turnout of 62 attendees, ranging from seasoned homeschoolers to newcomers and interested community members. The meet-and-greet aimed to connect families with educational resources, extracurricular activities and support networks available in the area.
