Dewayne Peacock, age 64, of Jennings, Fla., passed away on Nov. 26, 2020 at his home. Dewayne was married to the love of his life, Wanda Bennett Peacock for 47 years. The high-school sweethearts spent the last 50 years together side by side. The two were blessed with the love of a son, Wayne, then their daughter-in-law Tina and within a short time they were blessed with grandchildren, Brad and Emily, who were his heart and joy. Dewayne never missed a baseball, softball or volleyball game. He loved fishing, spending time riding dirt roads on the ranger with Wanda and listening to music. He had recently retired from Maxx and Regal Marine in Valdosta. To know him was to love him. He had so much love and a great big smile for everyone he met. Dewayne lived his life to the fullest and was most happy just being with Wanda, Wayne, Tina, Brad, Emily and all of his very special friends. Per his request Dewayne will be cremated and private memorial services will be held at a later date. Harry T. Reid Funeral Home was in charge of immediate arrangements.
