Mercy Chefs returns to Suwannee County providing free meals

Mercy Chefs is a faith-based nonprofit organization that started in 2006 after Hurricane Katrina. The organization helps provide professionally prepared restaurant meals to victims, volunteers and first responders during natural disasters. Founder Gary LeBlanc started the nonprofit organization after he volunteered during Hurricane Katrina and found his passion for helping people during natural disasters.
Mercy Chefs was deployed to Live Oak on Monday evening, Aug. 5, to help families in need after Hurricane Debby. Meals were served between Tuesday, Aug. 6 and Tuesday, Aug. 13. The group witnessed a significant response to its services,
