Suwannee County Fire Rescue welcomes new fire chief

 Brad Merritt  Contributor  Suwannee County is thrilled to announce the selection of Dan Miller as the next Fire Chief for the Suwannee County Fire Rescue Department.  Chief Miller brings over 26 years of Fire/Rescue service from the Lake County Fire/Rescue Department, where he began his career in 1996 as a volunteer. He was hired full-time in 1997 and promoted up through the ranks of Lieutenant and Battalion Chief, serving his last four years as the department's EMS Chief.
