Thomas Alexander Reynolds, age 75, of Jennings, Fla., passed away at his home on Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020. Tom was born in Winter Haven, Fla., on March 16, 1945 where he made his home until a short time after graduation from Winter Haven High School. Soon after, he joined the military and served his country in the United States Navy. While serving in the military, Tom met and married his wife, Margaret Drew (daughter of Paul and Mary Drew). Following his discharge from the Navy, Tom worked doing construction, which included site prep on properties. He and his wife Peg and two sons moved to Hamilton County, Fla., from Naples some 33 years ago and enjoyed the life of farming and building up the nursery business that he and his family worked together. He obviously had a green thumb because he produced some of the most beautiful plants that could be bought in the south. When prompted about hobbies, the answer came quick…work. His sons fondly remember him working from sun up to sun down and on summer vacation, that meant they did also. Tom was a faithful member at the Jasper Church of Christ and Lake Park Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his mother, Joan Reynolds and the father who raised him, Edward Reynolds. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Margaret “Peggy” Reynolds; two sons, Adam Reynolds (Evie) of Jennings, Fla., and Chris Reynolds (Sarah) of Echols County, Ga., ; three sisters, Wanda Wolfe, Jasper, Ga., Gerrie Watson, Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Hazel Watson, Albemarle, N.C.; and four grandchildren, Ramsey-Kay, Justin, Rachel and Ryan. Funeral services were held on Sunday, Nov. 29, 2020 in the chapel of Harry T. Reid Funeral Home in Jasper, Fla., with Mr. Ted Okolichany officiating. Interment followed at Evergreen Cemetery in Jasper, Fla., Memorial contributions may be made to Jasper Church of Christ C/O 3701 NW CR 150, Jasper, Fla., 32052 or to the Lake Park Church of Christ, P.O.
