Former Bulldog makes history in a no-hitter

On Friday, July. 19, Suwannee High School graduate Hueston Morrill made history with his team the Hudson Valley Renegades with the New York Yankees organization by pitching a no-hitter. Morrill threw the third no-hitter in team history since 2021 against the Brooklyn Cyclones. It was also the first at Heritage Financial Park since 2000.
“That night we were fortunate enough to make 27 consecutive outs,” stated Morrill. He said you can only play baseball one pitch at a time, one batter at time, and one out at a time. Morrill stated, he was so focused on the fact they had just hit a walk-off home-run to win the game that he forgot the team
