Santa Clause is coming to Suwannee Hardware beginning Tuesday, Dec. 1 until Saturday, Dec. 12, everyday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Come bring the kids out to get a photograph taken with Santa. Face masks and prescreening is required to attend and volunteers and Candy Cane donations are still needed. Please call (386) 397- 2551 with any questions. Dec. 12
The Hope Center will be hosting a Holiday Mother/Daughter Vintage High Tea on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations are available now, parties must be completed to be seated and should not arrive more than five minutes before their reservation time. Sip tea topped with devonshire cream, enjoy handmade pastries, scones and tea sandwiches while being transported to a different time with beautiful holiday decor from days long past all around you. Space is limited so it is recommended you make reservations early. Call (720) 586-2134 to make a reservation. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door.

Suwannee Hardware and Feed is continuing to host their (free) monthly swap meet with the next one taking place on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. in historical White Springs. Held on the second Saturday of every month, this is an opportunity to bring your wares to sell without a vendors fee being expected. You can buy, sell or trade and admission is free as well. There will be animals, arts, crafts, produce, antiques, plants and yard sale items available. Those who would like to sell or trade must bring their own tables, chairs, tents, bags, boxes and money for change. For more information, please call Suwannee Hardware at (386) 397-2551. Windstream is hosting a "Merry Market" on Saturday, Dec. 12, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in Live Oak. There are no vendor fees. For more information or to reserve your vendor spot, please call Windstream at (386) 364-2400. The market will take place at 206 White Ave., SE.
Dec. 12
The Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting the Christmas Parade in Jasper on Saturday, Dec. 12. The parade will begin at 6. p.m. and the chamber is still accepting applications to enter. There are no entry fees and the categories range from general floats, to vehicles and golf carts. Line-up will be in order of registration with the winners being announced following the parade. All entries must be lit and all music must be Christmas music. If you plan on giving out candy please note that it must be passed to individuals and not thrown. Dec. 12
The 2020 Branford Christmas Parade is being sponsored by the Branford Future Farmers of America chapters (FFA). The parade will be lined up at Buccaneer Stadium between 4:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 12 and there will be multiple categories to win. Categories like "Most Christmas Spirit," "Best Community/Business Float," "Best School Group Float," "Keeping Christ in Christmas" and "Best Overall." The deadline for entry forms to participate in the parade is on Wednesday, Dec. 9. They may be emailed to syoung@suwannee.k12.fl.us or erin.roberts.suwannee.k12.fl.us. Forms can be found on the groups Facebook page, by searching for Branford FFA Alumni. Completed forms can be dropped off at Branford High School. The parade will run along Suwannee Avenue in Branford and all are welcome to enter.
