Live Oak City Council approves several resolutions

Christian Peterson  reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com  On Tuesday, July 9, the Live Oak City Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting, beginning with swearing in the new city council officials: Vanessa Brown Robinson, District 2; David Alford, District 3; and Gladys Owens, District 5. After that, the council moved onto the election of the new council President and Pro-Tem President. Both Matt Campbell and Tommie Jefferson were nominated for the Presidential seat, with Campbell winning the internal election. The council then chose to elect Jefferson as the new pro-tem.
