RIVEROAK honors 13 Practical Nursing graduates

Danny Federico  reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com  RIVEROAK Technical College recently hosted its Practical Nursing Graduation Ceremony, honoring 13 students for completing their journey to becoming Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Under RIVEROAK's 11-month program, students learn how to perform a variety of tasks, including "monitoring patients and medical equipment, gathering and recording information from patients [and] administering medications," among other necessary skills to ensure the proper care for patients. On Thursday, June 27, families and friends of the graduates filled Suwannee High School's auditorium for the celebratory evening.  Graduates honored included Emily Ayers
