Lafayette County Farm Bureau hosts successful AgVenture for fourth graders

Lafayette County Farm Bureau Contributor In May, the Lafayette County Farm Bureau held its annual AgVenture event, an educational initiative designed to immerse local fourth-graders in the diverse world of agriculture. This year's AgVenture saw enthusiastic participation from all fourth-grade students across the county, providing them with hands-on learning experiences in seven key commodity areas: corn, cotton, peanuts, poultry, dairy, forestry and watermelons.
