A collaborative effort between the Suwannee County and Columbia County Sheriff's Offices led to the arrests of two suspects in a homicide that occurred in Lee County, Va.
On Monday, June 24, investigators with the Suwannee County Sheriff's Office (SCSO) were in contact with Virginia State Police investigators, who had traced Christopher N. "Nick" Holeman to Suwannee County. However, Later, on Wednesday, June 26, the Virginia State Police reached out to the SCSO once more to inform them of a second suspect connected to the homicide case who was also believed to be in Suwannee County. According to a press release, the SCSO stated investigators located and arrested Amos Lee "Leebo" Hall in O'Brien.
"This collaborative effort between the CCSO and SCSO not only resulted in the swift apprehension of two extremely violent suspects but also underscored the strength and efficiency of their working relationship," the SCSO stated in its press release. "The joint efforts of both sheriff's offices highlight their unwavering dedication to serving and protecting our local communities."
"The success of this mission is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our investigators and the support from our colleagues in Columbia County and Virginia State Police," Suwannee County Sheriff Sam St. John said. "We will continue to work together to uphold justice and safety for all."

Our surrounding Sheriffs have a special relationship and are always working together to help each other out when needed," said Columbia County Sheriff Mark Hunter. All of our citizens are safer because of these arrests."through the use of advanced analytical data, the SCSO discovered Holeman was actually in Columbia County. Through coordination with the Columbia County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), Holeman was promptly located and arrested.
