Florida government takes action to prevent scams

Gov. Ron DeSantis signed nine bills on Tuesday, May 28, including Senate Bill (SB) 556, the Protection of Specified Adults. SB 556 targets specified those who are “vulnerable adults,” including seniors over the age of 65 and those who may be victims of suspected financial exploitation.
